Pakistan Foils Indian Missile and Drone Attacks on Multiple Airbases, DG ISPR Warns of Strong Response

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Security sources have confirmed that Pakistan successfully thwarted an attempted attack by India targeting three strategic airbases, including the Nur Khan Airbase in Chaklala. According to a statement by the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), India has launched missile strikes, but all assets of the Pakistan Air Force remain secure.
During an official briefing, the DG ISPR revealed that India attempted to target Nur Khan Airbase, Mureed Airbase, and the Shorkot Base using surface-to-ground missiles. The DG ISPR strongly condemned the aggression, stating, “India must now wait for Pakistan’s response.”
The DG ISPR further disclosed that India also launched missiles towards Afghanistan, escalating tensions across the region. He warned that India’s reckless actions are pushing the entire South Asian region toward a potential war.
In a related development, a hostile Indian drone was shot down in the outskirts of Lahore near Narang Mandi. Security sources confirmed that no drones entered Lahore city, and no explosions were reported within the urban area.
Another Indian drone was intercepted and destroyed in the border village of Jaisinghwala in Sheikhupura district. The drone’s crash caused a minor explosion that ignited crop residue, but no casualties or property damage occurred. Fire brigade teams successfully extinguished the blaze.
It is noteworthy that Pakistan has previously thwarted 77 Indian drone incursions. The DG ISPR affirmed that Pakistan’s armed forces are responding decisively to Indian aggression and will continue to defend the nation’s sovereignty with full force.
