PM Shehbaz Sharif Emphasizes Dialogue and Diplomacy in Meeting with Saudi Ambassador

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday emphasized the need to maintain peace and stability through dialogue and diplomacy during a meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy.

Ambassador Al-Malkiy called on the prime minister at the Prime Minister’s House, where the two sides held a warm and cordial discussion on recent regional and global developments, according to a press statement issued by the PM House.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif conveyed his respectful regards and good wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as to Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.

Expressing satisfaction over the excellent state of bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, the prime minister reaffirmed his strong commitment to further deepening the long-standing fraternal ties between the two countries. In this regard, he thanked Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for his patronage and continued support for Pakistan, noting that these efforts had brought the two nations closer than ever before.

The prime minister fondly recalled his meetings with the Saudi Crown Prince during the year, describing them as highly productive and instrumental in elevating Pak-Saudi relations to new heights. He also expressed deep appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s consistent support to Pakistan in times of need and its constructive role in promoting peace and stability in the region.

Ambassador Al-Malkiy conveyed warm greetings from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He reiterated the Kingdom’s desire to further expand cooperation with Pakistan across all areas of mutual interest, reaffirming Saudi Arabia’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations.
