Poland, Kazakhstan to intensify inter-parliamentary cooperation
Warsaw, The Gulf Observer: Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Poland Alim Kirabayev met with Pawel Kowal, Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs of the Polish Sejm, elected during the October 15 elections this year, according to the reports of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The sides exchanged views on the bilateral agenda and the current international issues.
The parties also discussed the prospects for the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation, in particular, the exchange of visits by delegations of the two countries’ parliaments, including high-level visits.
Another issue on the agenda was the large-scale reforms carried out in Kazakhstan on the initiative of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, including human rights protection and the rule of law.
In turn, the Polish parliamentarian expressed an interest in intensifying inter-parliamentary dialogue and organizing bilateral visits.
Highly appreciating the complex of socio-political transformations on the way to building “Fair Kazakhstan”, Pawel Kowal noted the importance of our country in the modern architecture of international relations.
