Prabowo Accorded Warm Welcome in Seoul, Holds Talks with South Korean President

Seoul, The Gulf Observer: Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto was warmly received by South Korean President Lee Jae Myung upon his arrival at the Blue House in Seoul on Wednesday morning.

President Lee personally welcomed President Prabowo at the entrance of the Blue House, where the two leaders exchanged greetings before attending an official welcome ceremony. The ceremony featured the playing of the national anthems of both countries, followed by an inspection of the honor guard within the presidential complex.

During the reception, President Lee introduced members of his cabinet, while President Prabowo presented key members of the Indonesian delegation, including Foreign Minister Sugiono, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, and Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia.

The Indonesian delegation also comprised Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Rosan Roeslani, Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Meutya Hafid, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, and Ambassador Cecep Herawan.

Following the formalities, the two leaders and their respective delegations proceeded inside the Blue House for official engagements aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation.

President Prabowo arrived in Seoul on Tuesday evening after concluding his visit to Japan, where he held meetings with Emperor Naruhito and Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi.

During his stay in South Korea, President Prabowo is scheduled to undertake a series of official activities focused on deepening strategic ties and expanding cooperation across multiple sectors between the two nations.
