President BRISD presents Xi Jinping’s “The Governance of China” Volume IV to Chairman HEC, Pakistan
Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: President Qaiser Nawab of the Belt and Road Initiative for Sustainable Development (BRISD) had the distinct honor of presenting Xi Jinping’s highly acclaimed book, “The Governance of China” volume IV, to the distinguished H.E. Professor Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, Chairman of the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan.
During the presentation, Dr. Ahmed conveyed his deep admiration for the incredible progress and development that China has achieved over the past few decades. He specifically noted his multiple visits to China, where he witnessed the nation’s remarkable strides in academics and research.
In an expression of gratitude and recognition, Mr. Nawab commended China for hosting the highest number of Pakistani students pursuing their education in various fields on a range of scholarships. He emphasized that this educational exchange will ultimately contribute significantly to Pakistan’s economy and society. Furthermore, he highlighted that several universities from both countries have entered into agreements for various academic exchanges, enhancing the knowledge economy within Pakistan.
Pakistan, known for having a significant proportion of youth, presents an invaluable resource that needs to be nurtured, trained, and equipped with skills. Mr. Nawab emphasized that this burgeoning young population can be a driving force for the Belt and Road projects across the world, thereby playing a pivotal role in fostering international cooperation and development.
