President Ilham Aliyev Awards Distinguished Individuals for Contributions to Azerbaijani Science

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an order recognizing the outstanding contributions of several individuals to the advancement of national science.

Under the presidential decree, five individuals were conferred the “Honorary Diploma of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, while four were awarded the prestigious “Shohrat” (Glory) Order. Additionally, 14 scientists received the “Labor” Order (3rd degree), and 19 individuals were honored with the “Progress” Medal for their dedicated service to the development of Azerbaijani science.

Furthermore, three distinguished scientists were granted the individual scholarship of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in recognition of their exceptional service and long-term, productive contributions to the country’s scientific progress.

The awards highlight Azerbaijan’s continued commitment to fostering scientific innovation and honoring those whose work has significantly advanced the nation’s intellectual and technological development.
