President Ilham Aliyev Lays Foundation Stone for Eyvazkhanbeyli Village in Aghdam District

Aghdam, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, visited the Aghdam district today, accompanied by his son, Heydar Aliyev. During the visit, the President attended the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone for the new village of Eyvazkhanbeyli, which is part of the district’s comprehensive redevelopment plan.

Emin Huseynov, the Special Representative of the President in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts, provided a detailed briefing on the development plans for Eyvazkhanbeyli village. Spanning nearly 300 hectares, the village has been strategically designed in conjunction with neighboring settlements, including Shishpapaglar, Kosalar, and Eyvazkhanbeyli, to form a cohesive territorial unit.

Under the master plan, the village will consist of 1,091 homes, providing housing for 4,038 residents. The first phase of the construction will focus on 88.3 hectares of land and include 427 homes to accommodate 1,563 people. The houses will range in size, offering two, three, four, and five-room layouts.

In addition to residential buildings, the village will be equipped with essential infrastructure, including a school, kindergarten, administrative building, flag square, medical center, and a recreational park. Employment opportunities will be developed to support the local economy.

In a significant step toward revitalizing the district, President Ilham Aliyev officially laid the foundation stone for Eyvazkhanbeyli, marking a major milestone in the ongoing efforts to rebuild and rejuvenate the region.
