President Ilham Aliyev Meets CNCEC Chairman in Tianjin, Framework Agreement Exchanged

Tianjin, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a meeting with Mo Dingge, Chairman of the China National Chemical Engineering Corporation Limited (CNCEC), in the Chinese city of Tianjin.

During the discussions, the two sides exchanged views on cooperation in the petrochemical sector, oil refining, and the production of petrochemical products. Chairman Mo Dingge emphasized the favorable investment climate in Azerbaijan, highlighting the country’s potential for expanding industrial and energy-related partnerships.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Framework Agreement signed between the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and China National Chemical Engineering and Construction Corporation “Seven LTD” was formally exchanged in the presence of President Aliyev and Chairman Mo Dingge.

The agreement outlines the implementation of joint projects both in Azerbaijan and in third countries, underscoring the growing scope of cooperation between Azerbaijan and CNCEC.
