President Ilham Aliyev Receives Turkic Leaders Ahead of OTS Meeting in Baku

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on April 2 received a high-level delegation of leaders and officials from member and observer states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), underscoring the growing importance of Turkic cooperation on the international stage.
Among the distinguished guests were Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye Cevdet Yılmaz, Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nokerguly Atagulyyev, Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ünal Üstel, and Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev.
The visiting dignitaries are in Baku to participate in the meeting of the heads of government of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States, which is being hosted by Azerbaijan.
The meeting is expected to focus on enhancing multilateral cooperation among Turkic states across key sectors, including economic integration, transport connectivity, energy collaboration, and humanitarian engagement. Azerbaijan’s hosting of the high-level gathering reflects its active role in strengthening unity and advancing the shared agenda of the Turkic world.
The presence of senior leadership from across the Turkic region highlights the growing significance of the OTS as a platform for regional coordination and strategic partnership in an evolving global landscape.
