President of Turkmenistan to Pay State Visit to Kazakhstan

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedov will undertake a state visit to Kazakhstan from November 24 to 25, the Turkmen government announced on Friday.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov briefed the Cabinet on the ongoing preparations for the visit, underscoring its importance in advancing bilateral ties.
Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan were formally established in October 1992, and cooperation has since expanded across a wide range of sectors. The two countries have signed more than 180 agreements, providing a strong legal foundation for their partnership.
High-level exchanges remain a key component of the relationship, with both sides maintaining regular dialogue to strengthen political, economic, and strategic cooperation. Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan also closely coordinate within international organizations, including the United Nations.
Economic and trade collaboration between the two Central Asian neighbors continues to grow, while cultural and humanitarian exchanges remain a priority for both governments.
President Berdimuhamedov emphasized Kazakhstan’s role as one of Turkmenistan’s closest partners and instructed Foreign Minister Meredov to ensure comprehensive preparations for the upcoming visit.
