President of UAE receives King of Malaysia
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received His Majesty King Al-Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah of Malaysia, who is on a working visit to the UAE.
During their meeting, which took place at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed and His Majesty the King discussed the close ties between the UAE and Malaysia and their shared interest in promoting further sustainable development for the benefit of both countries and their people.
The King of Malaysia welcomed the signing of a concession agreement between the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and the Malaysian National Oil and Gas Company (Petronas), which is the first investment of its kind by a Malaysian company in one of the Abu Dhabi concessions.
The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Special Affairs Advisor at the Presidential Court; Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure; Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; and a number of senior officials accompanying the King of Malaysia.
