President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev Awarded Jordan’s Highest Honor – the Order of Al-Nahda

Samarkand, The Gulf Observer: As part of the state visit of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, a solemn ceremony was held to award the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with Jordan’s highest distinction – the Order of Al-Nahda (“Renaissance”).
The prestigious honor was personally conferred upon the President of Uzbekistan by King Abdullah II.
“With great honor, I accept this award as a worthy recognition and appreciation of our joint efforts to expand multifaceted cooperation, as well as a sign of friendship and respect for the people of Uzbekistan, who are laying the foundations of the Third Renaissance in our country,” President Mirziyoyev stated in his remarks.
The historic visit of King Abdullah II to Uzbekistan and the productive negotiations held during the trip have elevated bilateral relations to a new stage of comprehensive partnership. The leaders agreed to further strengthen cooperation across political, trade, economic, investment, transport, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
President Mirziyoyev commended King Abdullah II’s contribution to Jordan’s dynamic development, its consistent peace-oriented foreign policy, and the growing influence and authority of the Kingdom in the international arena.
He emphasized that this distinguished award will occupy an honored place as a symbol of the enduring friendship between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Jordan. Concluding his remarks, the Uzbek leader once again expressed heartfelt gratitude to King Abdullah II for the high honor and conveyed his sincere wishes of peace and prosperity to the people of Jordan.
