President Prabowo to Meet King Charles III, UK Prime Minister During London Visit

Jakarta, The Gulf Observer: Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to meet King Charles III and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer during his official visit to the United Kingdom, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said on Sunday.
“In London, President Prabowo will meet Prime Minister Keir Starmer to discuss strategic cooperation, including in the economic and maritime sectors,” Wijaya said in a statement.
He added that President Prabowo is also set to hold a meeting with King Charles III to discuss bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of natural and elephant conservation—causes long championed by the British monarch and international philanthropists.
President Prabowo departed Jakarta from Halim Perdanakusuma Airfield on Sunday to begin his overseas visit.
Following his engagements in London, the president will travel to Switzerland, where he is scheduled to deliver a keynote address at the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting in Davos on January 22. The appearance will mark his first major global economic engagement since taking office.
According to the WEF’s official agenda, President Prabowo will share the stage with WEF President and Chief Executive Officer Børge Brende during the session.
Wijaya noted that the annual forum is expected to bring together 61 heads of state and government, along with more than 1,000 participants from around the world.
