President Raisi meets with Tanzanian President in South Africa
Johannesburg, The Gulf Observer: President Ebrahim Raisi has declared Iran’s willingness to cooperate with Tanzania in a variety of domains, such as agriculture, industry, and the provision of technical engineering services, adding that Iran is prepared to assist in the construction of dams and power plants.
President Raisi made the remarks in a meeting with his Tanzanian counterpart Samia Suluhu Hassan on the sidelines of the 15th BRICS Summit in South Africa on Thursday evening.
Welcoming the expansion of bilateral cooperation, he emphasized the activation of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation as well as planning to boost economic and cultural ties between the two countries.
Hassan, for her part, welcomed the activation of the joint commission with Iran, saying that Iran and Tanzania have friendly political and diplomatic ties.
She also called for bolstering economic ties between Iran and Tanzania to match their political and diplomatic relations.
