President Serdar Berdimuhamedov Extends New Year 2026 Greetings to Nation

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has congratulated the Turkmen people on the arrival of the New Year 2026, state media reported on Thursday.
In his New Year’s address, the head of state highlighted the implementation of major infrastructure projects during 2025, noting continued progress in the industrial and agricultural sectors, alongside improvements in living standards.
Looking ahead, President Berdimuhamedov said that Turkmenistan will mark the 35th anniversary of its independence in 2026, reaffirming the government’s commitment to advancing nationwide prosperity and the well-being of its citizens.
Extending his best wishes, the president expressed hope for good health, happiness and success for the people of Turkmenistan, voicing confidence that the new year would bring further achievements for the country.
New Year celebrations were held across all regions of Turkmenistan, culminating in a festive fireworks display that illuminated the sky over the capital, Ashgabat.
