President Tokayev Receives Updates on Flood Situation in Several Kazakhstan Regions
Astana, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was briefed by governors of flood-affected regions—Akmola, Aktobe, Kostanay, and North Kazakhstan—regarding the current situation, as reported by the press service of Akorda.
The governors provided details on the ongoing flood situation and outlined the measures being implemented to mitigate the impact of the natural disaster and manage its aftermath.
In response to the situation, President Tokayev instructed members of the Government, led by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, to travel to the affected regions promptly. Their mission is to ensure the safety of citizens and address their urgent needs during this challenging period.
