President Tokayev Visits Children’s Football Academy in Aktobe
Aktobe, The Gulf Observer: During his working visit to the Aktobe region, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev inspected the Children’s Football Academy at Khimik Stadium, a state-of-the-art sports facility designed to foster young athletic talent. According to Akorda, the Academy, equipped with modern training equipment, provides year-round training opportunities for its students.
Currently, 780 children are enrolled at the Academy, where they receive training in line with best international standards. The facility includes sports halls, administrative offices, rehabilitation rooms, recreation areas, and other amenities designed to support the overall development and well-being of the young athletes.
In his visit, President Tokayev engaged with the Academy’s attendees and coaches, emphasizing the vital role of sports in shaping the futures of young people. He underscored the importance of encouraging children to participate in sports as a means of protecting them from negative influences and promoting their physical and mental health.
Tokayev’s visit highlights the government’s continued commitment to the development of youth sports infrastructure and the promotion of active, healthy lifestyles among Kazakhstan’s younger generation.
