President Zardari Extends Felicitations to Sultanate of Oman on National Day

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: President Asif Ali Zardari has extended his warm felicitations to the Sultanate of Oman on the occasion of its National Day, praising the country’s steady development under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq.

In his message, President Zardari conveyed sincere congratulations on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan to the Sultan and the brotherly people of Oman. He highlighted that the National Day provides an opportunity to celebrate Oman’s remarkable progress and steady development guided by the Sultan’s wise and visionary leadership.

Noting the close and time-honoured relationship between Pakistan and Oman, President Zardari underscored the shared faith, culture, and history that continue to strengthen bilateral ties. “Our two nations enjoy deep mutual respect and co-operation, which continue to strengthen with every passing year,” he added.

The President also lauded the vibrant Pakistani community in Oman, describing it as an integral part of the Sultanate’s national economy, and expressed appreciation for the care and support extended to them by the Omani leadership.

President Zardari affirmed his confidence that the bonds of brotherhood and partnership between Pakistan and Oman would continue to grow, benefiting their peoples and contributing to regional peace and stability.

Concluding his message, he conveyed his best wishes to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq for continued good health and happiness, as well as for the lasting progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Oman.
