Prime Minister of Kazakhstan arrives in Tashkent

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov arrived in Uzbekistan on Wednesday to attend the 16th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in Tashkent.

The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, and other officials met the distinguished guest at Tashkent International Airport.

Relations within the Economic Cooperation Organization have intensified significantly during the past period of this year. Let’s look at the numbers. The trade turnover within the ECO amounted to $9.2 billion, and the share of member states in the total trade turnover of Uzbekistan exceeded twenty percent.

Member states of the Economic Cooperation Organization are among the main export partners of Uzbekistan. It is gratifying that the economic potential of this regional organization on an international scale is increasing.
