Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Visits ASAN Khidmet Center in Baku

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, visited the “ASAN Khidmet” Center No. 7 of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During the visit, Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations, provided the Prime Minister with an overview of the objectives and activities of the “ASAN Khidmet” centers. He highlighted the agency’s extensive collaboration with over 20 countries and international organizations to share the ASAN service experience.

The Prime Minister was also briefed on the operations of the “INNOLAND” Incubation and Acceleration Center, “Mobile ASAN Khidmet,” and the “ABAD” Public Legal Entity, all of which contribute to Azerbaijan’s innovative public service model.

Expressing his admiration, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated: “We were highly impressed by our visit to the ‘ASAN Khidmet’ center. This innovative service model is a testament to the vision and leadership of my dear brother, President Ilham Aliyev. The ‘ASAN Khidmet’ center reflects advanced thinking and dynamism, boasting professional human resources, state-of-the-art technology, and efficient public service delivery. The center ensures that services are accessible to citizens in a short time. We also explored the startup center and met with volunteers. I believe this center, which provides employment opportunities for young people, has no equivalent worldwide. We greatly appreciate the thoughtful and far-sighted policy of my brother, President Ilham Aliyev, and we look forward to benefiting from Azerbaijan’s experience.”

The Prime Minister further announced that Pakistan will establish a similar service center in Islamabad based on the “ASAN Khidmet” model. A cooperation agreement is set to be signed in the near future to facilitate this initiative, aiming to enhance public service delivery in Pakistan through a single-window system.
