Qatar Condemns Assassination Attempt on Former US President Donald Trump
Doha, The Gulf Observer: The State of Qatar has condemned the assassination attempt on former US President HE Donald Trump, which occurred during an election rally in Pennsylvania. In a statement issued on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its wishes for Trump’s health and safety.
The ministry reiterated Qatar’s firm stance against violence and criminal acts, including political assassinations, regardless of the motives and reasons. The statement emphasized the importance of adopting dialogue and peaceful means to resolve disagreements, and the need to avoid political violence and hatred at all levels.
Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed condolences to the family of the victim and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the incident.
