Qatar International Arts Festival starts from tomorrow
Doha, The Gulf Observer: Qatar International Arts Festival (QIAF), the largest arts festival in the country, will open tomorrow, gathering over 300 artists from more than 65 countries.
It will be held at Katara Cultural Village and conclude on September 30. The art festival will also unveil 12 international galleries exhibiting paintings and sculptures. As the country is hosting the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the theme for this year’s edition is “Global Art with Football and Sports.”
Among the events lined-up during the five-day festival are: Qatar cultural tour, painting and sculpture exhibition, live painting symposium, artistic fashion show, master classes, art panel discussion, art conference, cultural evening, networking dinner night, and awards night.
The event is being organized by MAPS International, in collaboration with Cultural Village Foundation, Katara.
