Qatar, Malaysia Discuss Bilateral Ties and Gaza Developments
Doha, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, met with HE Dato Awang Bemee Bin Awang Ali Basah, President of the Senate of Malaysia, during the latter’s official visit to the country.
The two leaders discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Qatar and Malaysia, emphasizing their shared commitment to enhancing ties in various fields.
The meeting also addressed recent developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, alongside other topics of mutual concern.
The Malaysian Senate President commended Qatar’s efforts in mediating peace, particularly its role in facilitating the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
The visit underscores the strong diplomatic relations between Qatar and Malaysia and highlights their shared interest in regional stability and humanitarian efforts.
