Quảng Nam Culture, Sports, and Tourism Days 2025 to Celebrate Heritage, Green Tourism

Quảng Nam, The Gulf Observer: The Quảng Nam Culture, Sports, and Tourism Days 2025 will take place from June 6 to June 29, spotlighting the central province’s rich cultural heritage, vibrant sports traditions, and growing appeal as a green tourism destination.

Held under the theme “Quảng Nam – Green Heritage Area,” the month-long celebration will feature a diverse lineup of activities across multiple localities, combining traditional arts, modern entertainment, and environmental awareness.

The festival will officially open on June 6 at Hội An Memory Island in Hội An City with a spectacular ceremony including a drone light show, paragliding displays, and fireworks.

A standout cultural event, the Kim Bồng Countryside Market, will take place on June 11 at Kim Bồng Craft Village Centre in Cẩm Kim Commune. This immersive experience will offer local products, craft demonstrations, folk games, traditional cuisine, and live performances, giving visitors a taste of authentic rural life along the Hội An River.

In Tam Kỳ City, the “Tam Kỳ – Come and Explore” Sea Festival will run from June 11 to June 15 at Tam Thanh Sea Square. Highlights include a round basket shaking competition, sand sculpture contest, traditional boat racing on the Trường Giang River, and the Tam Kỳ Sea Marathon 2025, featuring races of 10km, 5km, and 1.2km for children. Additional events include kite performances, traditional craft displays, and cultural exchanges.

From June 21 to 23, the Bài Chòi Art Festival will be held at the Quảng Nam Cultural Center, celebrating this UNESCO-recognized form of folk singing and game.

The festival also embraces sustainability and innovation with a Green Tourism Workshop on June 6 at Silk Sense Hội An River Resort, focusing on stakeholder-based tourism management models. A separate seminar on developing tourism start-ups rooted in indigenous resources is scheduled for June 21 in Tam Kỳ.

Sporting highlights include the National Championships in badminton, table tennis, weightlifting, and pickleball for the disabled, hosted at the Quảng Nam Sports Centre.

The event will conclude with the Second International Yoga Festival Quảng Nam–Việt Nam 2025 and the Fourth National Youth Yoga Championship, both taking place from June 21 to June 29 at Tam Thanh Sea Square.

With its rich program, Quảng Nam Culture, Sports, and Tourism Days 2025 is set to offer a vibrant platform for cultural pride, sporting excellence, and sustainable tourism development.
