Riyadh Set to Host 3rd International Conference on King Abdulaziz's Legacy in January

Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU) will host the Third International Conference on the History of King Abdulaziz on January 28-29, 2025, under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The event will take place in the university’s Conference Hall in Riyadh.

Themed “The Economy in the Reign of King Abdulaziz: Empowerment, Development, and Sustainability,” the conference will focus on the economic vision of King Abdulaziz and the transformative policies that shaped the Saudi economy during his reign. It aims to highlight how his leadership contributed to achieving sustainable development and laid the foundation for the Kingdom’s economic resilience.

IMSIU President Prof. Ahmed Al-Ameri expressed his gratitude for the royal patronage, stating that the conference would bring together scholars and researchers from across the globe to delve into various aspects of King Abdulaziz’s economic policies. It will feature activities, discussion panels, and workshops centered on topics such as economic crises management, the development of governmental and private institutions, and the use of modern approaches to studying historical and economic progress.

This third edition of the conference builds on the success of previous events, further enhancing the understanding of King Abdulaziz’s lasting economic legacy.
