Beijing, The Gulf Observer: In a strategic move to further strengthen its presence in the flourishing Asian cruise market, Royal Caribbean International announced its comprehensive China route deployment plan on Tuesday. The plan outlines the deployment of two state-of-the-art cruises in the prominent ports of Shanghai, Tianjin, and Hong Kong, offering a diverse array of international cruise routes.

Scheduled to set sail between February 2025 and April 2026, the plan aims to cater to the growing demand for premium cruise experiences in the region. Royal Caribbean International is set to connect three major Chinese cities—Shanghai, Tianjin, and Hong Kong—with popular Asian destinations such as Tokyo, Busan, and Osaka.

The renowned cruise liner, Ovation of the Seas, boasting an impressive 168,666 gross tonnage, is slated to resume operations in Tianjin starting May 1, 2025. This strategic move positions Ovation of the Seas to serve the vibrant market in north China, offering passengers an unparalleled cruise experience.

Simultaneously, another distinguished cruise, Spectrum of the Seas, will be deployed in Shanghai and Hong Kong. This deployment aligns with Royal Caribbean’s commitment to providing diverse and enriching cruise options to cater to the preferences and interests of the dynamic Chinese market.
