Russia Extends Invitation to Iran for Key Municipal BRICS Forum in Moscow
Moscow, The Gulf Observer: As the current chair of the BRICS group of emerging economies, Russia is set to host the 6th International Municipal BRICS (IMBRICS) Forum in Moscow. The forum, designed to foster the exchange of experiences in technological, economic, and social development across municipal territories of BRICS member states and their partners, will take place on August 27 and 28 at the Expocenter, Moscow’s premier international exhibition center.
According to the BRICS television network, the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry has extended invitations to delegations from 126 countries, including Iran, highlighting the forum’s global significance.
The IMBRICS Forum will cover 13 key working areas, featuring over 70 business events aimed at deepening cooperation among municipalities in various sectors. Discussions will encompass a wide range of topics, including economic development, digital technologies, industry, energy, urban infrastructure, transportation, environmental sustainability, healthcare, education, science, culture, sports, and tourism.
A large-scale exhibition will also accompany the forum, showcasing the latest innovations and developments in urban management and planning, providing participants with a comprehensive view of cutting-edge solutions in these fields.
This event underscores Russia’s commitment to enhancing collaboration among BRICS nations and their global partners, aiming to address the shared challenges and opportunities faced by municipalities worldwide.
