Saudi Arabia Confirms Commitment to Iran’s Territorial Integrity, Rejects Use of Its Airspace for Attacks

Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to respecting Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, emphasizing that Saudi airspace and territory must not be used for any military actions against Iran, regardless of their origin or direction.

The statement was made during a phone call on Tuesday with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

During the conversation, the Crown Prince highlighted Saudi Arabia’s support for resolving disputes through dialogue, with the goal of enhancing security and stability across the region. President Pezeshkian briefed the Crown Prince on recent developments in Iran, including the government’s measures to address ongoing challenges and updates on discussions related to the nuclear file.

The Iranian president expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s firm stance on respecting Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and commended Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for his initiatives aimed at promoting regional security and stability.
