Lyon, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, visited the headquarters of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) in Lyon, France, on Thursday. The minister was warmly received by Interpol President Maj. Gen. Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Raisi.

The visit reaffirmed the Kingdom’s enduring support for Interpol’s mission to enhance international cooperation in combating transnational crime. Prince Abdulaziz stated that his visit was conducted under the directive of the Saudi leadership, reflecting the country’s firm commitment to bolstering global security collaboration.

During his visit, the minister praised Interpol’s essential role in fostering international law enforcement partnerships, contributing significantly to global peace and stability. He also commended the organization’s efforts in addressing evolving security threats through advanced operational capabilities.
