Saudi King Salman Allocates SR3 Billion for Ramadan Assistance to Social Security Recipients
Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: In a benevolent gesture reflecting his commitment to the welfare of his citizens, Saudi Arabia’s King Salman has decreed the allocation of more than SR3 billion ($800 million) in Ramadan assistance to social security recipients, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency on Sunday.
Under this initiative, heads of families will receive SR1,000 each, while each dependent will be entitled to SR500. The assistance aims to alleviate financial burdens and provide essential support to families during the holy month of Ramadan.
The allocated funds will be disbursed directly into the bank accounts of beneficiaries, ensuring swift and efficient delivery of assistance to those in need, as stated by the SPA.
Saudi Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Ahmad bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, lauded King Salman’s compassionate gesture, recognizing his steadfast commitment to addressing the needs of citizens and providing essential aid during the sacred month of Ramadan.
