Senior IRGC Advisor Warns of Unpredictable Response to Hamas Leader's Assassination

Mashhad, The Gulf Observer: Hossein Taeb, a senior advisor within Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), has announced that Iran’s response to the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran will be unprecedented and surprising.

Reacting to the martyrdom of Haniyeh, who was assassinated in the Iranian capital on July 31, Taeb stated that Tehran’s strategy for avenging his death is unpredictable.

“The situation in the Zionist regime is in disarray as the Israelis do not have the faintest idea about Iran’s response,” Taeb speculated. He also indicated that the regime is currently unsafe for foreign investors.

Taeb further commented on the internal instability within Israel, noting that both the ruling party and the opposition foresee the imminent collapse of the regime. He also declared that the hegemony of the United States is nearing its end.

Haniyeh was assassinated by the Zionist regime in Tehran in the early hours of July 31. He had been in the Iranian capital to attend the inauguration of Iran’s new President, Masoud Pezeshkian.
