Sharjah Launches Flag Day Celebrations Led by Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi
Sharjah, The Gulf Observer: Sharjah recently marked the start of its Flag Day celebrations, a national event observed annually on November 3 to honor the unity and loyalty of the United Arab Emirates, according to Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Committee for the 53rd National Day Celebrations. The event took place under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, at Flag Island, with flags raised across the emirate.
In his statement to media, Al Midfa emphasized that Flag Day reflects the profound loyalty and unity of the Emirati people, celebrating a deep-seated attachment to their homeland. The event reinforces national pride and shared values, uniting communities across Sharjah and the UAE. This year’s observance was marked by ceremonies in Sharjah’s cities, promoting the Emirati spirit and commemorating the nation’s shared heritage and aspirations under one flag.
