Shavkat Mirziyoyev Arrives in Saint Petersburg on Working Visit

Saint Petersburg, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Saint Petersburg on a working visit on Sunday.
At Pulkovo International Airport, the Uzbek leader was received by Governor of Saint Petersburg Alexander Beglov and other senior officials.
According to the visit programme for December 21–22, President Mirziyoyev will take part, in observer status, in the regular meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, as well as in an informal meeting of the heads of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
The agendas of the summits focus on current issues related to expanding mutually beneficial cooperation within the respective multilateral frameworks. Participants are expected to review the main outcomes of joint work to date and discuss priority areas for practical collaboration in the coming year.
President Mirziyoyev’s participation underscores Uzbekistan’s continued engagement with regional partners and its commitment to strengthening dialogue and cooperation across Eurasian and CIS platforms.
