Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Meets US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent in New York

New York, The Gulf Observer: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, met with Scott Bessent, the United States Secretary of the Treasury, during an official engagement held in New York.
The two sides reviewed the strategic partnership between the UAE and the US, exploring avenues to further enhance cooperation aimed at advancing shared interests, promoting sustainable economic growth, and strengthening prosperity for both nations and their peoples.
Discussions during the meeting focused on expanding joint collaboration across key sectors, particularly finance, economy, and trade, in line with the two countries’ shared commitment to long-term strategic and economic development.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah underlined that the UAE and the United States enjoy deep-rooted and steadily growing strategic relations, built on mutual respect and a common vision for a diversified and sustainable economic future.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for Sheikh Abdullah and Secretary Bessent to exchange views on regional and international developments. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation to promote peace, stability, and prosperity in the Middle East, while supporting broader efforts to ensure global security and stability.
