Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, graced an event commemorating Zayed Humanitarian Day, held on Friday and organized by the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments (GAIAE) in collaboration with the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre.

The distinguished gathering witnessed the presence of eminent scholars and esteemed guests of the UAE President, including Dr. Hamdan Musallam Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC); Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Chairman of GAIAE; Mohammed Saeed Al Neyadi, Director-General of GAIAE; and Dr. Youssef Al Obaidli, Director General of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre, alongside several prominent figures from across the country.

In a poignant address titled “Sheikh Zayed and Al-Azhar,” Muhammad Abd al-Rahman al-Duwaini, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar al-Sharif, underscored the enduring legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed, emphasizing its continuity under his successors. Al-Duwaini hailed Sheikh Zayed’s unwavering wisdom, determination, and contributions, which resonate both domestically and internationally, solidifying his esteemed position in the hearts and minds of the nation.

The event witnessed various scholars delivering speeches that shed light on Sheikh Zayed’s profound international legacy across diverse domains, highlighting his indelible imprint on global humanitarianism and benevolent initiatives.
