In line with this vision, Sandooq Al Watan tirelessly pursues activities, programs, and initiatives aimed at driving social and economic success while inspiring positive change.

Sheikh Nahyan highlighted the success achieved under Sheikh Mohamed’s guidance in creating an environment that unites private and public institutions, citizens, and residents, forging a vibrant and balanced society with a focus on enhancing the quality of life for all UAE residents.
The Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence made these remarks during a ceremony honoring outstanding students of the Swift Accelerator program. Launched by Sandooq Al Watan in collaboration with the Apple International School, the program aimed at empowering UAE school students in the realms of modern technology and coding. The ceremony celebrated the graduation of 200 male and female students, equipping them with the skills needed to become the next generation of young coding professionals in app development, a first-of-its-kind initiative in the Middle East through the exclusive partnership between Swift Accelerator and Sandooq Al Watan.
Sheikh Nahyan extended his appreciation to key contributors to the program’s success, including the Higher Colleges of Technology, Khalifa Innovation Centre, Apple Middle East, and Certiport. The ceremony, attended by over 1,200 individuals, included members of the Board of Directors of Sandooq Al Watan, partners, sponsors, parents, teachers, and students from across the country. Afra Al Sabri, Director-General of the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence, and Yasser Al Gergawi, Director-General of Sandooq Al Watan, were also present at the celebration.
Swift Accelerator, a pioneering program in the UAE exclusive to Sandooq Al Watan, focuses on developing teams of app entrepreneurs at the secondary education level, nurturing local talent with a strong emphasis on social impact. The program equips students with a Mac, 180 hours of Swift code training, pro-level Apple certification, and the opportunity to publish an app on Apple’s App Store, thereby cultivating the next generation of young coding professionals.
