Success of New Uzbekistan under the leadership of Shavkat Mirziyoyev
The Republic of Uzbekistan is a double land lock country of Central Asia, its area is 448,900 km² with a population of 34.92 Millions. Its capital is beautiful and historical city of Tashkent.
It has most famous ancient cities of Samarkand, Bukhara, Andijan and Khiva with amazing architectural beauty, these were in ancient times at the heart of famous silk route connecting China to Middle East and Rome.
This was a main trade route for caravans of traders, who used to remain active on this unique road, the major cities of now Uzbekistan were rich and main beneficiaries of this trade route.
These cities opened their gates for traders, skilled persons and intellectuals to play their miraculous role in the economic ,cultural and intellectual uplift of this area. It was the mockery of fate that because of its economic and geography, this great country remained the victim of greedy aggressors in different annals of history.
Its resources, wealth, and potential always remained attractive for aggressive nations and warriors. The last who occupied this area were Russians in 19th century and then after became a part of Soviet Union, from whom this great nation got independence in 1991 after the disintegration of Soviet Union.
The Republic of Uzbekistan celebrates its Independence Day each year on 1st of September
The first President of the independent Republic of Uzbekistan was Islam karimov who ruled the Country till his death in 2016.
The current President Shavkat Mirziyoyev who is the successor of Islam karimov, was prime minister of decease president.
The current President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is a wise, experienced and seasoned person who knows the ups and downs of local, regional and international politics
He accepted all challenges of the time at the critical and very difficult juncture of Uzbekistan history. He has decided to remove all hurdles in the passage of progress and prosperity of the country.
By dint of his God gifted wisdom and long management experience, President Mirziyoyev is confident to create a new Uzbekistan, for this purpose he has made a plan of reforms in different walks of life
First of all he decided to go to his people and seek public mandate in favour of his reforms. So, he announced an election in July, 2023. The results of this election was extremely in favour of the president Shovkat Mirziuov, the huge majority of the people of the Republic of Uzbekistan stamped in favor of the reformation program.
This was the expression of love of the people with their President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The reformation program which is the key for the uplift and prosperity of the country and was amazingly appreciated by the people of Uzbekistan, who participated enthusiastically in the election, nearly 90% votes were cast in favour of the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev
This was a great confidence that people bestowed on the President. Now President Mirziyoyev, emerged as a sole strong savior of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The reform program of 66 years energetic and visionary President emphasize to double the gross domestic products, flourish education and tourism.
The President wants to ban the forced labour in cotton fields, the good quality cotton is major crop of the country and is called silver crop.
President Mirziyoyev is also trying to create political harmony among the nation, as a token of good will he released political prisoners who were jailed during previous government. Hence he provided a chance to them to play their positive role in changed circumstances.
The reform agenda of the president includes to eradicate corruption from the country, he jailed the high profile corrupt mafia to ensure the success of his reformation program
The president wants to provide all possible rights to his people to enjoy freedom. He is in favour of religious independence which was badly restricted before independence.
So, after his coming in the presidential office, the president Mirziyoyev, first of all visited Saudi Arabia and performed his religious prayers in the Holy Kaba. He offered prayer in the masjid Al Haram.
He also visited the tomb of Imam Bukhari situated in the city of Bukhara. This all indicate his love for religion and land mark of religious policy.
Though officially The Republic of Uzbekistan is a secular state, but the president is not in favour of banning people to go to their sacred and worship places. This is good sign for people, now they perform their religious practices freely and independently.
The reform agenda of President Shovkat Mirziuov is being praised inside and outside of Uzbekistan, his great victory in election has made him a high status leader of his nation and a respected and honourable leader of the world
The president has embarked the ship of peace and friendship with full confidence, enthusiasm and futuristic vision. He is making the way to lessen tension with all neighbors and hostile or misguided circles.
We see his efforts fruitful, when see in the light of messages of congratulation sent by the president’s, PMs and leaders of the world at his glorious victory in election.
