Sultan of Oman Explores Al Salam Palace Museum in Kuwait
Kuwait City, The Gulf Observer: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik embarked on a significant cultural journey today as he visited the esteemed Al Salam Palace Museum in Kuwait City during his current state visit to the State of Kuwait. Upon his arrival at the museum, His Majesty the Sultan received a warm welcome from esteemed Kuwaiti dignitaries, including Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Mubarak Al Sabah, Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs, and Sheikha Muna Al Jaber Al Abdullah Al Sabah, Head of the Centre for Historical Documents and Amiri Diwan Museums and Libraries, Supervisor-General of Al Salam Palace Museum, alongside other Kuwaiti officials.
Delving into the rich tapestry of Kuwait’s history and civilization, His Majesty the Sultan embarked on a comprehensive tour of the Museum’s galleries. Enriched by a technology-enhanced briefing, he immersed himself in the wealth of artefacts and manuscripts that illuminate pivotal aspects of Kuwait’s heritage.
Throughout the tour, His Majesty the Sultan absorbed the significance of exhibits housed within the main halls, each meticulously curated to encapsulate the diverse civilizations and historical milestones that have shaped Kuwait’s identity.
