Sultan of Oman receives Saudi Crown Prince

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received at Al Barakah Palace on Tuesday HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman is on a private visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Majesty the Sultan welcomed the guest, wishing him and his accompanying delegation a nice stay in Oman.

During the meeting, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman conveyed greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of KSA and best wishes of permanent health and happiness to His Majesty, and the Omani people further progress and prosperity.

His Majesty asked the guest to convey his greetings and best wishes of good health and happiness to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and the brotherly Saudi people further progress and welfare.

His Majesty the Sultan and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman reviewed the historic, firm, fraternal ties between the two countries. They also reiterated their determination to move forward in promoting aspects of the existing bilateral cooperation in all spheres in a manner that meets aspirations of the Omani and Saudi peoples.

The meeting was attended from the Omani side by HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth and HH Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said.

The meeting was attended from the Saudi side by HRH Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of National Guard, HRH Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Defence and HH Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Culture.
