Tajikistan and Pakistan Hold Bilateral Meeting on Sidelines of UNESCO General Conference

Paris, The Gulf Observer: On the sidelines of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, a meeting was held between Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Ms. Wajiha Qamar, Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of education, culture, and science, in line with the goals and values promoted by UNESCO. They also discussed the importance of fostering academic exchanges, professional training programs, and institutional partnerships to advance mutual understanding and sustainable development.
Both officials reaffirmed their countries’ commitment to deepening collaboration within the framework of UNESCO, and expressed readiness to continue joint efforts aimed at promoting education, innovation, and intercultural dialogue at both regional and international levels.
The meeting took place in a cordial and constructive atmosphere, reflecting the friendly relations and growing cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan.
