Tajikistan Recognizes Iran’s New Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei

Dushanbe, The Gulf Observer: Tajikistan has officially recognized Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei as the new Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran following his election by Iran’s Assembly of Experts.
President Emomali Rahmon sent a congratulatory telegram to the newly elected leader, expressing confidence that Iran would overcome its current challenges under Khamenei’s leadership.
In his message, Rahmon emphasized that Tajikistan highly values Iran’s constructive role in promoting regional and global peace and stability. He also reaffirmed Dushanbe’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Tehran based on mutual trust, respect, and adherence to international law.
The Tajik president further stated that his country is ready to expand mutually beneficial partnership with Iran across various fields.
