Tashkent holds “Gifts of Uzbekistan” Fair
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: The Hunarmand Association of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a fair and sale “Gifts of Uzbekistan” in Tashkent. More than a hundred unique works of the most skillful Uzbek artisans were presented at the fair.
Samples of art, which the masters of their craft have breathed life into, are handmade from natural products and embody the heart of the dreams and wishes of our people, millennial traditions. Within the framework of the exhibition, the participants had the opportunity to watch the master classes of skilled artisans.
Establishing and popularizing the production of Uzbek traditional souvenirs will allow studying the needs of guests and tourists, developing mentor-student schools, and creating new jobs.
The fair also aims to develop crafts further, expand the types of souvenirs produced and determine their popularity, work on quality and design, and study the needs of foreign guests.
The event has become a platform for demonstrating Uzbekistan’s intangible cultural heritage and its preservation, promoting souvenirs at the national and international levels, and exchanging ideas and experiences.
