Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan Visits Azerbaijani Pavilion at IDEF 2025 in Istanbul

Istanbul, The Gulf Observer: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan paid a visit to the 17th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2025), currently taking place at the Istanbul Expo Center, underscoring Türkiye’s commitment to advancing defense cooperation and technological exchange.

During his tour of the exhibition, Minister Fidan visited the Azerbaijani pavilion, where he was accompanied by Azerbaijani Minister of Defense Industry Vugar Mustafayev. The Azerbaijani delegation provided Minister Fidan with a comprehensive overview of the defense-related products and technologies on display.

Azerbaijan is showcasing 131 defense products at IDEF 2025, developed by enterprises operating under the Ministry of Defense Industry. The exhibits include a wide range of advanced military equipment such as small arms, close-combat vehicles, mortars, multi-caliber ammunition, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Following his stop at the Azerbaijani pavilion, Minister Fidan continued his visit across the fairgrounds, exploring a diverse array of national and corporate exhibits from around the world.
