Turkmen President meets with Chairman of Russian State Duma

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with Vyacheslav Volodin, the Chairman of the State Duma, the lower house of the Russian parliament – Federal Assembly, in Ashgabat on Monday, according to the press release issued by the State Duma.

Vyacheslav Volodin conveyed to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov the greetings from the Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Vyacheslav Volodin and Serdar Berdimuhamedov discussed cooperation between the parliaments of Russia and Turkmenistan.

The Chairman stated the need to develop the parliamentary dimension for the legislative support of decisions taken at the level of the leadership of the two states.
