Turkmen, Qatari FMs Hold Talks on Cooperation and Upcoming Peace Forum
Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: A telephone conversation took place between Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
During the discussion, both sides highlighted the high level of political and diplomatic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Qatar.
The parties also exchanged views on the upcoming International Forum for Peace and Trust, scheduled to be held in Ashgabat on December 12 this year. The event will mark Turkmenistan’s commitment to promoting global peace, dialogue, and neutrality.
In addition, the ministers underlined the importance of maintaining active contacts between the foreign ministries of the two countries, including regular exchanges at the ministerial level, to further enhance bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
