Turkmenistan and Germany Launch Selection Process for Partnering in Business Program

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, in collaboration with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany, has announced the commencement of interviews to select candidates for the 2025 stage of the Partnering in Business with Germany program. The program aims to enhance trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Germany and is part of the General Economic Cooperation group.

The program includes comprehensive training and a three-week internship in Germany. Candidates with proposals for advancing Turkmen-German trade and economic relations will also be offered remote learning options.

Applications for the program are being accepted until March 12, 2025, at the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, as reported in the Monday edition of the newspaper Neutral Turkmenistan.

To be eligible for the program, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Higher education
  • Fluency in English or Russian
  • At least five years of work experience, including a minimum of two years in a managerial position
  • Participants must be heads of legal entities or individual entrepreneurs.

In addition to the General Economic Cooperation group, the Ministry and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany have also announced interviews for candidates from the private sector for courses in the international group Smart Agriculture and Food Industry for the 2025 stage of the program.
