Turkmenistan and Pakistan Discuss Transport and Logistics Cooperation

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan, Atajan Movlamov, held a meeting with a delegation from Pakistan’s National Logistics Corporation (NLC), led by Zair Uddin Baber. The discussions focused on enhancing transport and logistics infrastructure and organizing efficient transportation links between the two nations.

Both sides emphasized the significant potential for mutually beneficial projects, given the strategic locations of Turkmenistan and Pakistan, according to a statement from Turkmenistan’s diplomatic mission in Islamabad.

To further strengthen collaboration, the parties agreed to hold regular consultations aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation in the transport and logistics sectors.

Established in 1978, Pakistan’s National Logistics Corporation (NLC) is a state-owned organization that oversees transport infrastructure, freight transportation, and logistics services domestically and internationally.

This meeting underscores the commitment of both nations to fostering connectivity and advancing regional economic integration.
