UAE and Jordan Leaders Discuss Regional Developments, Stress Support for Gaza Ceasefire

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today received a phone call from His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, during which they discussed various aspects of cooperation and joint action between the two brotherly nations.

During the conversation, the two leaders reviewed a number of regional and international developments of mutual concern, particularly the latest situation in the Middle East. They affirmed the commitment of both countries to support all efforts and initiatives aimed at achieving a lasting ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and alleviating the humanitarian suffering of civilians.

President Sheikh Mohamed and King Abdullah II also emphasized the importance of advancing efforts toward a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution, describing it as the only viable path to ensuring lasting stability and security across the region.

Both sides further underscored the need to strengthen Arab coordination and joint action in addressing the challenges facing the region, reaffirming their shared vision of promoting peace, stability, and development in the Arab world.
