UAE and Uzbekistan Justice Ministers Discuss Enhanced Legal Cooperation

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, Minister of Justice of the United Arab Emirates, and Akbar Tashkulov, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, met to discuss advancing legal and judicial cooperation between their respective countries.

The meeting took place at the UAE Ministry of Justice premises in Abu Dhabi, with the presence of the Uzbek Minister’s accompanying delegation and several officials from the UAE Ministry of Justice.

During the session, both ministers deliberated on various strategies to bolster bilateral relations in the legal and judicial spheres. They highlighted the importance of mutual collaboration, including the exchange of expertise and best practices, to enhance the administration of justice in both nations.

Minister Al Nuaimi underscored the UAE’s commitment to establishing strong legal frameworks and judicial cooperation with Uzbekistan. He noted that such partnerships are vital to the comprehensive strategic relationship between the two countries.

Minister Tashkulov acknowledged the UAE’s advancements in the legal and judicial sectors and expressed Uzbekistan’s interest in benefiting from the UAE’s experiences. He emphasized the role of continued dialogue in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of their respective legal systems.

The meeting concluded with both parties agreeing to further their discussions and explore specific projects and initiatives that could be implemented to achieve their shared objectives in legal and judicial cooperation.
