President of the Republic of Korea to Undertake State Visit to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: From June 13 to 15, 2024, President Yoon Suk-yeol of the Republic of Korea will conduct a state visit to Uzbekistan at the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan.
High-level negotiations will take place in Tashkent, where the leaders will engage in discussions on advancing Uzbek-Korean relations, focusing on their friendship and strategic partnership.
The agenda includes an exchange of views on enhancing practical cooperation in various sectors such as trade, innovation, energy, electronics, the chemical industry, agriculture, and infrastructure development. Additionally, they will address collaborative efforts in education, healthcare, culture, sports, and tourism.
The visit is expected to culminate in the signing of several intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements, further solidifying the bilateral ties.
Furthermore, President Yoon Suk-yeol and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will participate in a joint business forum, aiming to foster economic collaboration between the two nations.
During his visit, President Yoon will also travel to Samarkand to explore Uzbekistan’s rich cultural and historical heritage.
This state visit marks a significant step in strengthening the strategic partnership and expanding multifaceted cooperation between South Korea and Uzbekistan.
